THE TREE
Comfort, peace, childhood, connection.
As the main attraction and home of the 100 Acre Wood, this is what we hope The Tree brings to The Golden Letter Store.
We grew up knowing the fun of whimsical amusement parks, classic literature, and the quintessential collection of Jane Austen movie adaptations. When The Golden Letter Store would arrive, it would have to look and feel a certain way, bringing these fun memories together, as well as having a beautiful tree as a gathering place inspiredby the large tree in our favorite amusement park combined with the tree of Barnes & Noble. There is so much meaning in a tree, and it all ties into our mission.
The deep meaning behind A.A. Milne's creation of Winnie the Pooh, the inspiration of Beatrix Potter's world of adventures, the scenes of carefree picnics of Anne of Green Gables, Emma's important lesson on Box Hill, and so much more all played a role in choosing The Tree as our focal point. Even more, the hope of new beginnings and eternal life which The Tree represents through the hope of Jesus Christ.

The Secret Talent Behind the Scenes
SSG Garriel Conley, USA (Ret.), former Army Engineer
That's his name.
He's the secret. Now you know!
After building up a solid stage with his buddy, Paul Lentz, Garriel spent over 200 hours crafting and shaping the tree. That doesn't include the many hours preparing and designing.
The trunk is made from a mold taken from a real tree log from our sister's property (Rustic Blue Jay) that Serene Conley made!
Of course, we also found a veteran-owned source for our leaves!
Garriel also spends countless hours creating our wooden puzzles, engraving wooden yo-yos, leather working, and so much more for The Golden Letter Store.
